Manchester United 1940s-1950s Retro Football Shirt

Man United 1940s-1950s Retro Football Shirt. This classic football shirt was worn by famous Red Devils such as Johnny Carey during the late 1940s right through until 1955.

Leicester City 1960-1970s Retro Football Shirt.This popular shirt was first worn in 1966 for three seasons, and then returned for the 1971 – 1972 season.This classic shirt is long sleeved and is made from 100% knitted cotton.

Manchester United 1920s Retro Football Shirt. This vintage shirt was worn for most of the 1920s. There has been speculation that the new white kits were introduced by John Chapman, when he took over the Managers job at United from Airdrieonians – perhaps he introduced the colours of his former club to mark his arrival and try to change the fortunes of United.

Leicester City 1970-1971 Retro Football Shirt. Worn by Foxes favourite David Nish. This vintage all royal blue shirt was worn for one season in 1970 – 1971.

Manchester United 1957 FA Cup Final Retro Football Shirt. The Busby babes were set to dominate domestic football until the Munich tragedy when United were robbed of the best young talent in football. United were attempting to claim the double in ’57 but a bad injury to the keeper lead to Villa lifting the cup.

This vintage shirt was worn between 1947 and 1958, duriong this time they won promotion in 1952, and spent the subsequent 9 years in Division 2.

Bath City 1960s Retro Football Shirt. TOFFS produced this shirt especially in 2009 following an enquiry from the club. This proved extremely popular amongst Bath City fans.

Grimsby Town 1971-1972 Retro Football Shirt. Grimsby won the 4th Division championship in 1972 wearing this vintage shirt.

Huddersfield 1922 FA Cup Final Retro Football Shirt. Huddersfield beat Preston 1-0 in a dour final but is was just the start of Herbert Chapman’s magical reign, the following six years Huddersfield did not finish below 3rd in the league and captured a hatrick of titles in this time.

Huddersfield Town 1950s Retro Football Shirt. This vintage shirt was worn in the early 1950s, although the design only changed slightly between 1938 and 1953.

Huddersfield 1960s Retro Football Shirt. This vintage shirt was worn during the 1969 – 1970 season the traditional striped shirt returned.

Huddersfield 1967-1969 Retro Football Shirt. Huddersfield wore plain royal blue shirts for a few seasons in the late 60s due to stripes becoming ‘unfashionable’.

Everton 1920s Retro Football Shirt. Dixie Dean scored a total of 383 goals for Everton, in 433 appearances, an exceptional strike-rate. With modern scoring rates being much lower, both that record, and the record of 60 League goals in a season, are unlikely to ever be broken. He was adored by the Everton fans and was arguably the greatest and most profesional player to play for his club, having never been booked or sent off throughout his entire career.

Huddersfield 1960s Away Retro Football Shirt. The late 60s saw the striped home and away shirts return the Huddersfield Town. This classic shirt is long sleeved and made from 100% knitted cotton.

Everton 1966 FA Cup Final Retro Football Shirt. Everton played Sheffield Wednesday in the 1966 FA Cup Final and Derek Temple notched the winner in a 3-2 win.

Hull City 1957-1960 Retro Football Shirt. Hull City wore this V Neck shirt in the late 1950s, the outline around the badge was dropped and the Tigers head was embroidered on to the shirts.

Everton 1970s Retro Football Shirt. Vintage Everton 1970s shirt with EFC embroidery.

Hull City 1971-1972 Retro Football Shirt. Hull wore plain amber strips for much of the 1960s and 1970s, this one a prticularly popular choice amongst fans, with the embroidered Tiger now in the centre of the shirt.

Exeter City 1972-1973 Retro Football Shirt. Vintage Exeter City shirt worn in the early 1970s.

Ipswich 1930s-1950s Retro Football Shirt. This style of shirt was used for almost 20 years throughout the 1930s, 40s and 50s.
