Manchester United 1948 FA Cup Final Retro Football Shirt. The 1948 FA Cup Final was contested by Manchester United and Blackpool. United, who had not appeared in an FA Cup Final for 39 years, won 4?2, with two goals from Jack Rowley and one apiece from Stan Pearson and John Anderson. Eddie Shimwell and Stan Mortensen scored Blackpool’s goals. With his goal, Shimwell became the first full-back to score in a Wembley cup final.
Exeter City 1950s Retro Football Shirt
Exeter City Football Club, has been a member of the Football League since 1920 to 2003 and, following five seasons in the Conference National, from the 2008?09 season onwards. Founded in 1904, they began playing on an old field used for fattening pigs, St James Park (not to be confused with the homes of Newcastle United or Brackley Town). Exeter remain at St James Park to this day. The club’s nickname is “The Grecians”.
